Randy Kisser

Job Description: Pastor of Christian Education and Media

Bio: Pastor Randy came to Evangel Temple over thirty years ago with a rich Pentecostal Heritage. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland in a Christian home where he was taught not only the importance of attending church but also the true meaning of being a servant of God, family and church. Accepting Christ as his personal Savior at the age of seven, his life was filled with Sunday School, VBS, Kids’ camps and youth camps. In fact, it was at youth camp at the age of thirteen that he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and a call into ministry. This call led to Southeastern Assemblies of God College (now Southeastern University) where he not only received a BA in Bible, but also met Kay, his wife to be. After graduation in April 1977 Randy and Kay married and settled in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the next several years God blessed them with two wonderful children, Shannon and Shawn. God’s call on his life came to fruition in 1988 when the church launched its first Young Adult ministry. Over the next several years Randy ministered with the young adults until he moved to the Christian Education Department where he is still passionate about the teaching of God’s Word. In the year 2000, upon the completion of the present sanctuary, he was given the responsibility of overseeing the media of the church. Staying true to his heritage, Randy’s goal is still serving all those who God puts in his path.

John Harwell

Job Description: Singles, Couples, and Special Needs Pastor

Bio:John serves with his wife, Jennifer as the pastors who oversee both, Married Couples Ministry and Singles Ministry. John and Jennifer have been married 15 years and have two daughters, Ashlyn and Lacey who love Jesus. John and Jennifer, both received their B.S. degrees from Southeastern University. John also has a degree in Business and had been ordained through the Assemblies of God since 1995. John has served on staff at Evangel Temple for over 9 years. With 17 years of Youth Ministry experience, John brings the experience of working with children into the current adult ministry while assisting couples with strong parental resources in the Married Couples and Singles Ministry. John and Jennifer are passionate about keeping Jesus in the center of each home by calling adults back to a biblically-based lifestyle.

Chris Screws

Job Description: Youth and Young Adult Pastor

Bio: Chris’ life was dramatically changed as a 17-year-old Junior in High School. Before he met Christ, he was driven to be a collegiate athlete, with his own selfish ambition. However, after a radical encounter with Jesus, everything changed! Chris graduated high school in 1998 pursuing a baseball scholarship when God whispered a call into his heart to full-time ministry. The whisper of God was answered with a resounding “YES”. Chris gave up his baseball scholarship to begin his biblical studies through Berean School of the Bible. Having received his ministerial credentials in 2003, Chris began working as the Middle School Pastor here at Evangel Temple on a part-time basis. In early 2005, Chris became our full-time Middle School Pastor. In August 2009, Chris became the Youth and Young Adult Pastor, overseeing ministry for ages 12 – 30. His passion is undeniable when it comes to outreach in schools of all ages.

Chris has been married to his high school sweetheart, Stacy, for 10 years, and they have four beautiful children; Gavin, Aleaha, Gage and Addison. Chris’ family is committed to seeing youth and young adults come to Jesus and find their true potential in serving the Church, Senior Pastor, and most importantly, the Kingdom of Heaven!

Jennifer and Ryan Hildago

Job Description: Worship and Arts Pastors

Bio: Jennifer was born in Jacksonville, FL and is the daughter of Pastor Garry and Kim Wiggins. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Jacksonville University, and has taught private voice and piano lessons for 11 years through her independent music studio.
Jennifer also directed the Evangel Temple Children’s Choir for 5 years, and then became the Music Minister at the Evangel Temple Southwest Campus for 3 and half years. In May of ’09, she became the Worship Arts Associate to Pastor Wayne and Jennifer Lee at the Evangel Temple Central Campus. Jennifer has been married to Ryan Hidalgo, a local fireman, since May of 2004 and they enjoy ministering together in the Worship Arts Department at Evangel.
They also have 2 beautiful children: Alaina and Zachary. This entire family is dedicated to following Jesus and serving their Pastors and the entire “Body of Christ.” 

Jennifer’s passion is teaching and leading people, through the art of music, to worship the King of Kings and to find who they are in Jesus Christ. 
She believes in a generational church, and has a strong desire to see the entire body of Christ worship and work together in unity. Jennifer also has a calling to involve music ministry in evangelistic outreach through the church, in the community, and on the mission field.

Bill Marshall

Job Description: Business Administrator & Adult Ministries (50+)

Bio: Pastor Bill was a member of Evangel Temple from 1989 to 1999 before leaving Jacksonville for Norfolk, Virginia and retiring from the Navy in 2004, after 28 years. He attended Southeastern College, Global University, and Bethel College in Hampton, Virginia before attaining his credentials in ministry with the Assemblies of God. After the Navy, he went into full-time ministry as a Children’s Pastor in Portsmouth, Virginia before coming back to Evangel Temple to join the staff at the Central Campus and start the new campus ministry in St. Marys, Georgia. He now serves as the Adult Ministry department minister for 50+.

Jordan Wiggins

Job Description: Junior High Youth Pastor

Bio: Jordan Lee Wiggins was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 10, 1987 to Garry and Kim Wiggins. Jordan grew up in Jacksonville, attending Trinity Christian Academy from K-12. Jordan graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2006. Jordan began his undergraduate studies at Jacksonville University in the fall of 2006 and graduated from JU with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 2009. Jordan is currently studying at Regent University in their Masters of Organizational Leadership program focused in International Organizations.

Jordan has a STRONG passion for missions and business. Jordan spent the summer after graduating from JU serving with AGWM in Vienna, Austria to live out his passion of missions. Jordan loves connecting with people from all walks of life to show them the love of Jesus Christ. Jordan currently serves as the United JV Youth Pastor at Evangel Temple Assembly of God.

Jordan’s desire is to see the body of Christ serving the world in unity and love as the hands and feet of Jesus. As United JV Youth Pastor, Jordan wants to see Middle-Schoolers connect with God and share their connection with their school and the mission field. Jordan’s prayer is that Middle-Schoolers experience Jesus Christ and “Go Global” for the cause of Christ.

Shawn Kisser

Job Description: Ministry Assistant

Bio: Shawn Brandon Kisser was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Randy and Kay Kisser on October 21, 1982. Shawn grew up under the leadership of his father, Randy Kisser, and grandfather, Cecil Wiggins, in Jacksonville, Florida for 21 years before relocating to Orlando, Florida. His grandfather, Cecil Wiggins, has been the Pastor of Evangel Temple Assembly of God for over 45 years where his father has also worked and served as a pastor for over 28 years. 
Shawn received his Bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida College of Education in 2007 and currently resides in Jacksonville, where he functions as the Ministry Assistant at Evangel Temple Assembly of God. Shawn has been ministering with various churches and organizations as a leader since he moved to Orlando as well as serving with Resound School of Ministry. 
Shawn’s desire is to see the corporate church join in unity through prayer, fasting and the relentless pursuit of the knowledge of God. Shawn desires to see the church hunger for God’s love in the same manner in which God desires to give it to us. Shawn prays continually for the fullness of God to be released on our generations and for the raising up of young adults who will give their life to the one and only true God.

Dusty Brown

Job Description: Equip School of Ministry Supervisor

Dusty Brown is a ministry assistant at Evangel Temple.  He was born April 18th, 1991 and has attended Evangel since he was in 6th grade.  He began his work at Evangel at the age of 19 in the Equip School of Leadership, Evangel's program dedicated to teaching young people about the various aspects of church ministry, as well as teach them servanthood and stewardship.  After being one of the first graduates of Equip, Dusty became supervisor of the Equip program, and is now responsible for all students that go through the program, and making sure their spiritual needs are being met.  Dusty has acquired an Associates in Arts Degree, and is currently pursuing a B.A. degree in Psychology.

Mike Bajalia

Job Description: Worship Arts Department Associate

Mike was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and has been a part of Evangel Temple since an early age. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from Southeastern University. While attending Southeastern University, he also minored in music and was on scholarship playing for the University’s premiere traveling worship team. Over the course of Mike’s 10+ years in music he has had the privilege of playing with some of the music industry’s biggest names, and has traveled and played in churches all across the country. Mike also has a passion for teaching music and serves as an instructor for the Jacksonville Arts and Music Academy. Mike is a strong believer in using your talents to serve the Lord and is very thankful that he gets to do so at Evangel.
