Reliant Adult Ministries (50+)

• Evangel Temple Adult Ministries is a ministry to and through mature adults of Evangel Temple and to the world for service, outreach, Christian growth and discipleship, fellowship, friendship, and love.
  1. To encourage mature adults to discover their Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personalities and Experiences.
  2. To provide life-changing, meaningful, learning experiences through Bible study and transformational discipleship.
  3. To mobilize mature adults for ministry.
  4. To provide support and encouragement through networks/groups for mature adults.
  5. To provide recreation activities, trips and special events that renew, refresh and recreate individuals.
  6. To develop an intentional plan to promote the vision of our Senior Pastor and the ministries of Evangel Temple.

   

  Fellowship Opportunities:

  • Senior Choir - Meet for rehearsal every Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. in the Choir Room.
  • G.E.M.S. (Generations Enjoying Ministry & Service) Café - Meet every Tuesday in the G.E.M.S. Café in the Ministry Building from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Monthly Adult Ministry Luncheon - We meet the first Thursday after the 3rd of every month. We leave from the church on our bus and go to an area restaurant for lunch and afterwards enjoy an area activity.
  • Monthly Adult Ministry Dinner - We meet the 3rd Thursday of every month at the church for a potluck dinner with great fellowship, music, drama, and much, much more.
  • Day trips and multiple-day group trips throughout the year traveling around the United States.

  Ministry Opportunities:

  • Nursing Home Ministry - Visitation and services every Wednesday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
  • Samaritan House - Volunteer as a Servant Leader, when your time permits, Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at our Samaritan House to reach out to our community, to provide food and clothing.
  • Serving Evangel Temple as Usher, Choir member, Security, Sunday School Teacher; Royal Ranger or Girls MPACT Leader.
